-A fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
-Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net.
-Played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes.
-Played as doubles or singles.

about Softball Tennis

- Soft tennis is a kind of tennis which was developed in Japan on regular tennis.
-The　main one being the use of much softer rubber balls.
- game uses these soft balls certain unique features have developed, such as a lighter and moreflexible racket with a lower string compression.
-In a doubles match, you can see breathtaking, varied rallies and impressive net play between players.
-Speed, agility and perfect timing make exciting play.
-Paired players combination and cooperative play will assure the games popularity for both players and spectators alike.
-From school children to pensioners, soft tennis fits all.

NATIONAL BOARD OF PICKLE BOARD TENNIS

The pickleball court is similar to a doubles badminton court. The actual size of the court is 20 by 44 feet for both doubles and singles. The net is hung at 36 inches on the ends, and 34 inches at center. The court is striped like a tennis court, with no alleys; but the outer courts, and not the inner courts, are divided in half by service lines. The inner courts are non-volley zones and extend 7 feet from the net on either side.

The 2020 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships will be held October 31 – November 8, 2020. Indian Wells is located just outside of Palm Springs California. The facility is home to the BNP Paribas Open – the largest combined men and women’s tennis tournament in the world. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden features the second largest tennis stadium in the world – an impressive 16,100-seat Stadium 1 – as well as a permanent 8,000-seat Stadium 2. The venue also boasts 28 world class courts and will soon be adding a championship pickleball court to the site.

Indian Wells Indian Wells, located about 15 miles southeast of Palm Springs, is a premier vacation destination in Southern California. Home to luxurious resorts, world-renowned golf courses and the BNP Paribas Open, the city of Indian Wells has become a mecca for tennis fans from far and wide.

NATIONAL BOARD OF SOFTBALL TENNIS

At the end of the 19th century, tennis was introduced to Japan by a Western missionary, and it was later modified to better suit Japanese tastes. A special racquet and ball were developed, and the game became known as soft tennis

Most of the rules for soft tennis are the same as those for regular tennis. When the rules were revised in 1992, singles became a formal event. This revision also enabled a forward player in doubles to serve. The serve plays an important role in a team's chances of winning. The world championship is held every four years. The recent world championship was played in New Delhi, India, from 17 to 21 November 2015.
